As a preface, I grew up in the heartland within a large family during
the 50’s. I was number 2 out of 7 and the oldest male of four brothers.
My parents were hard workers; my mom a homemaker ala June Cleaver, . my
father a banker who was a dead ringer for Andy Griffith. Sibling
squabbles were common, yet respectful. In short, we learned to ‘fight
fair’ and always remembered to look to the most positive aspect of the
other person to compliment while making up thus creating a winwin
situation. Today, my sisters and I are the closest in the family which
stemmed from those early years, and thank God I had them to learn from,
because the motivations and drives of male and female can completely be
misunderstood if you really don’t listen.
How does the foregoing
relate to dating ice breakers? If you are truly a genuine ‘listener’,
half your battle is over. By developing your ability to find the best in
people, and be able to communicate that in verbal and nonverbal
language, you are well on your way in making that special first date
feel at ease, receptive, and reciprocal. Most men have a tendency to
want to talk about themselves, their successes, sports accomplishments,
even the definite deal breakers: past scars from a violent exwife or how
much you resemble an old girlfriend. Let’s face it, more men than not
like to overwhelm their conquests with; what a great guy they are to be
gracing your presence, so how about a drink and up to my place?
Preoccupation with oneself will always be a vicious circle preventing
you from getting honest to goodness Q A sessions to spark that mutual
interest. So gents, put away the resume, sports awards, stop twisting
that replica Rolex, and open your ears and heart.bekijk meer Replica horloges Zwitserse en IWC Cousteau Divers
